Your event may be hosted outdoors in our garden area overlooking the city’s pond and walking trails, or in one of our indoor event spaces which may be transformed into an enchanting, romantic venue with room for up to 200 guests. The James Madison Inn has 19 lavish, well-appointed guest rooms and is considered one of the most luxurious boutique hotels in the state.
 
Offering day spas, restaurants, shopping, golf, antebellum homes, and museums, (most within walking distance), Madison is ideal for our guests to explore. Madison and the surrounding area offer a number of beautiful and historic churches, making it a perfect choice for a destination wedding. Allow our helpful concierge staff to assist with all of your wedding arrangements including churches, caterers, florists, or even horse-drawn carriage rides.
 
The James Madison Inn, overlooking Madison’s Town Park, is easily accessible to The James Madison Conference Center, located only steps away. The Conference Center, with its two indoor event spaces, comfortable Bridal Room, and outdoor park and amphitheater, forms the perfect setting for any occasion from weddings, receptions and intimate dinners or pre-wedding parties.
 
James Madison Hall, our grand salon, offers 2,400 square feet of space with theater-style seating for up to 225 people, or 160 people seated at round tables.  This room is open and spacious, featuring a raised stage and a variety of lighting options and can be set up to suit your type of gathering.
 
The Daniel Morgan Room, our 1,000 square foot space accommodates theater-style seating for 75 people and table seating for 48.  Both event spaces connect with double doors, and open onto an artfully landscaped outdoor amphitheater and patio area.  This beautiful setting overlooks Madison’s famed Round Bowl Spring Park and pond.
